Californian Driver Kills 6-Year-Old Girl While Under the Influence

While under the influence of narcotics, a woman in Los Angeles drove on the wrong side of the road in her pick-up truck and crashed into a van full of people. The collision killed van passengers Maria Luisa Dominguez and 6-year-old Angela Giron immediately. When police arrived on scene, they immediately arrested the suspect on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs and DUI manslaughter.

The suspect will need an experienced DUI defense attorney to assist her. If charged with DUI manslaughter, the suspect faces years in prison, a revoked license, probation and alcohol/drug classes. Some possible defenses could be that the suspect was not actually under the influence of any substance or that the van caused the accident and not her. Whether you live in Santa Ana, Garden Grove or Aliso Viejo, if you are charged with DUI manslaughter, call a good DUI defense attorney to assist you.
